What to Expect
at Your First Appointment
Whether you visit us at our Oshkosh or Fond du Lac office, you will receive the same high level of care from our team. To help you prepare for your first appointment, you can expect the following.
Gathering Information
Dr. Drummond will begin with a conversation to get to know you better. He is notorious for building long-lasting relationships with his patients and wants to understand what brought you in and what your goals are for the appointment.
Ear Exam
Dr. Drummond will then look inside your ears to determine if any physical issues may be causing your hearing loss, such as earwax build-up or ruptured eardrum.
Hearing Test
The testing process will identify the cause and severity of hearing loss. You will sit in a soundproof booth listening for a series of sounds that vary in pitch and frequency. The test itself is painless and easy.
Your Results
Dr. Drummond will go over your results with you, which are recorded on an audiogram. He will thoroughly explain your hearing loss and answer any questions you may have. At this time, he will also go over potential treatment options.
