Message from Our Doctor of Audiology

“Hello Winnebago and Fond du Lac County! I’m Dr. Jared M. Drummond, owner of Affordable Audiology & Hearing Service. At Affordable Audiology & Hearing Service, we sell more than just hearing aids – we sell better hearing for LIFE. Treatment for hearing loss is less dependent on buying the “right” hearing aid, and more dependent on your provider’s level of education and training.

Did you know? Not all hearing aids are the same, and not all providers have the same background & training – that’s where we’re different! Our office is staffed with a Board-Certified Audiologist and certified Audiology Assistants at your disposal. Finding the right provider and the right support team is often the “secret ingredient” to better hearing and long-term satisfaction with hearing aids.

Dr. Jared M. Drummond, Au.D.

Owner | Audiologist

Dr. Drummond is a Board-Certified Audiologist serving Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. He brings to Affordable Audiology an extensive background in hearing assessment, rehabilitation, and diagnostics. Dr. Drummond holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin.

Following his academic studies, Dr. Drummond completed a year-long clinical externship in audiology at Marshfield Clinic – Rice Lake Center (Rice Lake, WI). Dr. Drummond has gained significant experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing loss while working in clinics, hospitals, and Ear, Nose & Throat practices across the state of Wisconsin.

Dr. Drummond is committed to helping his patients reach their fullest hearing potential and promotes hearing health and wellness for all. Dr. Drummond enjoys working closely with his patients to fully evaluate their hearing health, offers education and counseling on hearing-related disturbances, and provides patient-centered care for all types of hearing difficulties. Dr. Drummond also has a strong interest in tinnitus management and provides expert care in helping his patients achieve relief from “ringing” in their ears. He is currently accepting new patients.

Audiology Assistant

April joined the Affordable Audiology team in August of 2023 as a Patient Care Coordinator and is excited to better assist those individuals suffering from hearing loss. April has an extensive medical background in skilled nursing facilities and is passionate about ensuring each patient’s experience at Affordable Audiology & Hearing Service exceeds their expectations. April obtained her Audiology Assistant Certification in October 2023.

April is committed to offering guidance to each patient on their hearing loss journey, knowing that better hearing wellness is essential to a better quality of life. April takes pride in her work and has excelled early within her role as an Audiology Assistant.

While April is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan, and 4 children. April enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her family, where they can be found hiking, cannoning, and swimming away the warm Wisconsin summer months. April is also a Level 3 Krav Maga student and enjoys instructing strength and conditioning classes at her local gym.

Elyse G.

Office Manager

Elyse joined the Affordable Audiology & Hearing Service team in March of 2021 and has been in the field of audiology since 2019. She currently serves as Clinical Manager for both our Fond du Lac and Oshkosh offices. Formerly an Audiology Assistant, Elyse brings hands-on clinical experience along with strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills into her role. She is passionate about leading her audiology team, supporting high-quality patient care, and ensuring efficient, compassionate practice operations while continuing to work closely with patients experiencing hearing loss. Elyse obtained her Audiology Assistant Certification in July 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. She has built a proud career in healthcare and is deeply committed to delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a positive and well-organized clinical environment.

Elyse has a strong passion for the healthcare field and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of audiology. She takes pride in helping patients reach their hearing healthcare goals and understands the importance of promoting better hearing wellness and overall quality of life. Elyse is dedicated to guiding and supporting patients throughout every step of their hearing loss journey.

Outside of the office, Elyse enjoys spending time outdoors and soaking up the sun whenever possible. She and her husband, Brenden, along with their dog, Zoomer, love camping, fishing, and kayaking. Elyse also enjoys getting her hands dirty, planting and tending to her garden, along with working on their family farm. She has a strong appreciation for music and enjoys a wide variety of artists and musical genres. Originally from the Twin Cities area, Elyse is also a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan—you can always count on her to cheer on the Green and Gold!

Before your first visit, Affordable Audiology verifies your coverage to help you maximize any applicable hearing aid benefits. We’re proud to be one of the few Fox Valley practices that also assists with insurance verification, filing requirements, and claim submission on your behalf.
